Dr. Collins reasoned that an ear dryer would eliminate the
moist environment required for the growth of bacteria. The principles for
designing such a device is supported by basic biology, which tells us
that living cells of bacteria and fungi are always present in the outer
ear canal. Since water is essential for the growth of living cells,
preventing moisture or water from remaining in the ear canal would
inhibit the cell’s ability to grow. Dr. Collins was convinced that if
he could develop some sort of ear dryer, patients would be able to keep
their ears free of moisture and thus minimize the potential for outer
ear infections.
Dr. Collins worked closely with a design firm to create, develop, and
manufacture prototypes of a mechanical ear dryer. The result of this
collaboration was a device that blows warm air into the external ear
canal, gently evaporating all water and moisture leaving the ear canals
dry and safe. The doctor then tested the device on patients over a
six-month period.
Some patients had chronic ear problems, some
suffered from swimmer’s ear and some wore hearing aids. In all cases
the results were extremely favorable. The patients with chronic ear problems due to moisture in the ear
noticed marked improvement in their condition. Swimmers ear patients
found using the ear dryer after water sports activities significantly
reduced or eliminated recurrences. Those who wore hearing aids found
the fit, function and comfort of their aids was greatly improved with
daily use of the ear dryer consistently keeping their outer ear canals
perspiration and moisture free.
With such impressive results, Dr. Collins felt it imperative to
introduce his device to the open market rather than the medical field exclusively. He formed a company called Sahara
Design and Marketing Group LLC. With the help of his closest
supporters and a team of experts he began work to further develop the
device. The product that is now available to you has undergone seven
generations of design revisions and is so incredibly improved that even
Dr. Collins can hardly believe it. The Ear Dryer delivers on its promise every time by drying your ears in just minutes.
Dr. Collins and the folks at Sahara Design and Marketing Group LLC have a couple other inventions backed by patents and prototypes that you can keep your eyes peeled for in the near future
